Traffic Management Installation, Maintenance & Removal

 

Peak Traffic Management provides installation, maintenance and removal support for temporary traffic management schemes across Derbyshire, the East Midlands and West Midlands. From the initial setup through to final collection, the aim is to keep the traffic management clear, organised and appropriate for the works taking place.

 

Installation involves more than simply placing equipment on the road. Signs, cones, barriers, temporary traffic lights and other traffic management equipment need to be positioned in accordance with the agreed layout and the conditions on site. The work area, surrounding traffic, pedestrian movements and access requirements all need to be considered during setup.

 

Where traffic management remains in place for a period of time, ongoing checks and maintenance can also be important. Equipment can be affected by weather, traffic, site activity or changing work phases, so any issues need to be identified and addressed promptly.

 

When the works are complete, the traffic management can then be removed in a controlled sequence so that the road is returned to normal operation.
